About Air Liquide in Malaysia
The SIOC (Smart Innovative Operations Centre) is a centralised control room for monitoring and managing numerous distributed Air Liquide operations. Located at 1Powerhouse in Bandar Utama, this control room uses predictive analytics to provide real-time plant data management, energy optimisation, and predictive maintenance across the regional supply chain. This remote monitoring, control, and optimisation service covers production sites not just in Malaysia, but also in Singapore, Vietnam, Thailand, Indonesia, the Philippines, Australia and New Zealand.
The control room is operated by a small team of engineers who require instant access to a wide range of real time telemetry and dashboards, provided by multiple workstations in a separate server room. The operators have the ability to pull any dashboard from any workstation, to be shown onto the videowall, or any of their monitors with full KVM control and audio extension.

SIOC Videowall System
The control room uses a videowall consisting of 4×2 55″ videowall panels from LG. Each member of the team of engineers uses 4 curved monitors. Video sources come from a range of multi-headed workstations, centrally located in a separate server room. Video layout and switching is provided by a Nexus DCx videowall controller, configured with 20 outputs and 24 inputs. Control is done with 3 small desktop touchscreens.

- KVM allows operator to control any displayed workstation.
